How to get your first 100 connections on LinkedIn and who should you be connecting with?   Deciding who you should be connecting with can be quite difficult at first. But it doesn’t have to be. In this blog post I will be sharing the do’s and do not’s of connecting on LinkedIn.   There isn’t really anyone that you can't connect with, however, you don’t want it to be quiet random so we’ll go over it anyway! The following is for people who are just starting out on LinkedIn and want some easy first connections. These will take you to your first 200 connections on LinkedIn. Friends and Family: The first and easiest people to connect with are friends and family. They are the ones that are (in most cases) going to like your posts no matter what!   People you have worked with: Search up your current and/or past workplace and then navigate to People to see who works there. Then connect with whoever you like! BUT, remember how you connect is also important...

Okay, say you’ve been stalking someone's LinkedIn profile and you really love what their doing, or maybe its an industry leader that you’ve heard of, how do you get in touch?   In this blog post I’ll be sharing my technique for getting in touch, and having meaningful conversations with people you admire. For the purpose of this blog, we’ll assume that I want to contact a CEO of a medium sized company, who has a LinkedIn following of 50,000.     Step 1: Engage with their content. There's 2 main ways that I like to engage with people content. #1:  Comment on their posts. If someone posts something insightful then comment your opinion on this. While this example person does have 50,000 LinkedIn followers, only around 100 will comment. Only 10 of that 100 will comment consistently. If you comment on all of their posts, I can almost guarantee that by the time it comes to messaging them, they’ll at least re...

LinkedIn is a super straightforward platform. You don’t even need to write well to go viral on LinkedIn. By creating content that you think is valuable, you’ll do well on the platform. Here’s a post by my girlfriend, Monika, to show you how easy it is. Monika didn’t spend long on this post, and she’s by no means an expert. This post ...
